Be aware of some scams that are out their currently.
Some Lowell area businesses may have received an email from an organization named City-Recognition. The email states they are happy to inform the business that they were chosen for the 2018 Best of Lowell Awards. They lead you to a website to enter a code.
The Better Business Bureau was contacted and they immediately identified this as a scam. So please be aware of this and the only organization who provides business awards in the area is the Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce.
In addition, the Lowell Area Fire Department wishes to inform residents they do not make phone solicitations for donations to the Fire Department.
